The Oyo State government has said the job portal for recruitment of 7,000 public primary school teachers will be open by 6p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
The application portal for the year 2024 recruitment is https://subeb.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng/. Candidates are expected to submit their application before July 9, 2024.
Oyo SUBEB board is recruiting public primary school teachers for the following subjects:
- Commerce
- Basic Science
- Biology
- Business Studies
- Chemistry
- Christian Religious Studies
- Civic Education
- Computer Studies
- Economics
- English
- Guidance and Counselling
- History
- Islamic Religious Studies
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Yoruba

Oyo SUBEB Recruitment Requirements 2024
The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board has set some requirements and qualifications for candidates to possess, see them below;
- National certificate of education from any accredited tertiary institution
- Possession of O’ level certificate with not less than 5 credit passes in the core subjects including mathematics and English language
- Possession of the teacher’s registration council of Nigeria (TRCN) would be an added advantage
- Candidate must be medically fit
- Candidate must be between the ages of 20 to 35 years old
